I am sure you know how much I love making flowers, but I also LOVE seeing what my customers do with them! Some time back Mayra ordered some miniature flowers from me. I was so thrilled when she shared these pictures of her finished work, and I wanted to share it with you.
Mayra is making a collection of eleven fashion dolls. After she finishes those, she MAY make and sell them. I am sure anyone would love to own one of her creations!
I love the tulle sleeves and underskirt on this dress. She added beads to some of the flowers and look at the cute wrist corsage. The design of this dress is so perfect! What a talented designer and seamstress Mayra is!
I love Mayra Shuman's beautiful work and I am sure you will too!

Lots of little ribbon flowers
Things seem to sell in phases, so I spent all last week making yards and yards of little ribbon flower leaf trim!!! Whee, glad that is over!
Here is the hair barrette I squeezed in between leaf trim.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy our pretty fall weather.

Inspiration comes in many colors
Sometimes you need to pull out all of your goodies to find inspiration. I love the jade handle on this antique Asian mirror. I dyed some ribbon in shades of jade and pulled out some of my beads and stamens. I will let you know what I come up with!
Here are some pink trims and bits, I love all shades of pink!! Who doesn't?
And last but not least......PURPLE!!!
What inspires you?

Ribbon work , Christmas, and I am already behind!
Good Morning!! (click for larger picture)
Here is a collection of small pins I made for a customer. She is giving them as gifts. I can't wait to see which ones she chooses.
For a few weeks business was slow....and then boom!, I am behind already!
Isn't that how life is...feast or famine? I guess the key is to learn to enjoy each day!
Yes, I am very philosophical this morning...it must be lack of sleep!
Which one would you choose?
