French Ribbonwork Purple Wisterias and Pink Ribbon Roses

Hello everyone. Sometimes being a "people pleaser" pays off.
I often have customers ask me to make things and I never want to say no. I always tell them I will try. Then I beat myself up and fret and worry and wonder why I didn't just say no in the first place! LOL

But sometimes it pays off. I have a customer who wanted wisteria for a fairy costume. I have never made wisteria before and I have never even seen antique ribbonwork wisteria. After several days of worry I dove in, here is my wisteria. I was pretty pleased.
The above piece was just a little test piece.

I think the fairy wants a garland of wisteria. I will keep you updated!

Have a wonderful day!

  9. So very pretty. Now you are wondering why you worried. :) I do get that though. I once had a client as for a sun and moon design on her table top. What did I know about that? But, in the end I kind of liked the design and was glad that I had been pushed to try something new. Your project turned out beautifully. Thank you for sharing it on Motivated Monday at BeColorful
