I'm Back with some new.... well, old ribbonwork.

Thank you to everyone who wished me well with my recent bout with hives. I am ready to get back to work now. I plan to get a haz mat suit and take some pictures of the little creatures that caused such misery.

Here is a piece I did a while ago and just never got around to listing it in my shop. I covered a hat box with lace and fully intended to add ribbonwork flowers, but I just can't decide how I want to do it! So it has been pressed into service as a photo prop. I think the real reason I haven't finished it is because that would mean I would list it for sale ....and well, I kinda love it. LOL

I like to see the way pieces can look very different by just turning them upside down.
Do you feel compelled to list everything you make for sale, or do you keep your favorite pieces?
Here is the same hatbox with a different piece of ribbonwork.

  1. Oh that is so pretty and it does take on a different look when its upside down, I like it both ways...as far as keeping some of my work, I have made afghans and baby blankets for friends and family, that I do not sell, and I started making these neat soap holders, that are knit, those are fun.

    Thanks for this post!
